Michael McCormick, M.S., LBS

Michael is an experienced education professional with over 13 years of experience in the field. He earned his Master’s degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Special Education and is a Licensed Behavior Specialist in the state of Pennsylvania. Over the course of his career, Michael has served as a teacher of complex learners, adjunct professor, supervisor of special education, and transition coordinator. Michael’s expertise lies in designing and implementing defensible Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with varying needs. He is skilled in developing and implementing behavior management strategies, as well as collaborating with families, teachers, and service providers to ensure that learners receive the support they need to succeed. Throughout this career, Michael has been recognized for his dedication to the field and has presented on IEP development, secondary transition planning, instructional strategies, and the provision of a free appropriate public education.
