During the late summer/early fall of 2024, Tar Heel Reader will join the Building Wings family of literacy instruction resources for special educators under a new name, Monarch Reader. At this time, a new website will be launched providing special education teachers, school SLPs, and learners of all ages with a vast library of accessible books, continuing in the tradition of Tar Heel Reader.
